Biblical Truths & Practical Training
The School of Biblical Womanhood is based on the desire to fulfill the command in Titus 2 for the aged women to teach the younger women. We seek to train women to embrace their God-given roles and fulfill them with excellence. We do this with sound Bible teaching, hands-on training, and personal mentoring.
Who can attend this school?
The School of Biblical Womanhood is for women who are in high school or above. Single or married, young or not-so-young, we welcome ladies who desire to learn what the Bible teaches for women and how to apply it in their lives.
The in-person school will meet in Butler, PA on Thursday evenings from 6:30-9:30 p.m.
Online options are also available.
Note: Each successfully completed semester of the full course will satisfy the requirements for 1/2 credit as a high school elective.
What Will I Learn?
We will be discussing biblical topics like wisdom, virtue, discretion, chastity, submission, modesty, faith, and love. See the Info page for details on this semester’s courses.
We will also be learning homemaking skills like cooking, baking, cleaning, organizing, meal planning, and budgeting. We will study sewing and home decor. We will learn hospitality - what it means, and how to practice it. We will discuss dating/courtship, marriage, motherhood, singleness, and much more.
We will also study how to have a personal walk with the Lord, how to share your testimony effectively, how to study the Bible, prepare a lesson and teach it, and many other important aspects of serving the Lord in the home and the local church.
Who will be teaching?
Mrs. Niki Lott is the instructor at SBW. Niki is the wife of Pastor Brian Lott. She and Brian have been married since 1996, and are the parents of Halle & Evan, their gifts from the Lord. Niki is a homeschool mom and cherishes the privilege of being a wife and mother. She is also an author and composer. You can find much of her work at ChristianCompositions.com.
What Do You Believe About the Bible?
We believe the Bible is the perfect Word of God, and that it is the basis for our faith and practice.
The King James Version is the required text for all classes.
